A hilarious Scots comedy, set in 1919 when Leith joined Edinburgh. Leith had its very own trams! Do you join St Cuthbert's or Leith Provie when the boundary runs through your house?

For countless generations, the adjoining towns of Edinburgh and Leith had co-existed in friendly rivalry, but in the 1920's there was a successful movement to join the two. This produced stresses and strains, most of them amusing but none more so than for the two families from opposite sides of the dividing line. Matters are brought to a head by the prospect of a marriage across the boundary.
