VENUE 17 - ST PETER'S CHURCH HALL, Lutton Place, Newington.
Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 26th - 29th August 2009 at 7:45pm
Tickets: £9.00, Concessions £7.00
The miser wants to marry off his son to a wealthy widow and marry off his daughter to a rich older man. Needless to say, the son and daughter have other ideas. With the help - or hindrance - of some very unreliable servants, all turns out well and love triumphs in the end.
THE MISER was originally written by Moliere in 1668 but it’s still a very funny play today. This brilliant new adaptation by J.J. Mills sets it firmly in the 20th century and is more topical than you think! An evening of laughter for all the family is guaranteed.
Originally performed at Morningside's Church Hill Theatre in March this year, we bring you another chance to see this much loved production.
