Synopsis:
The miser wants to marry off his son to a wealthy widow and marry off his daughter to a rich older man. Not surprisingly, his feisty offspring have other ideas and long to escape from his penny pinching household and marry their respective lovers. But with the help - or hindrance - of the very unreliable servants, things get much more complicated!
THE MISER was originally written by Moliere in 1668 but it’s still a very funny play today. This brilliant new adaptation by J.J. Mills sets it firmly in the 20th century and an evening of laughter for all the family is guaranteed.
